Player Skill Expectations

This league will consist of strong intermediate and advanced players (3.5+) who would like to strengthen their games in a competitive format.

General Comments

The Middle Men league, taking place on 4 courts at Rockwood Park, accommodates up to 25 players. Coordinator approval is necessary to register. Due to limited court availability this season, priority is given to the players with the highest DUPR ratings. Warmups start 30 minutes prior to league start time.

  • DUPR Scores: Player scores will be recorded in DUPR. Ensure you have an active DUPR account to receive your initial or updated player rating by the end of the season.
  • Equipment and Essentials: Bring your own pickleball paddle, plenty of water, and stay hydrated. Sunscreen, comfortable attire, and protective glasses are highly recommended. Balls for play will be provided.
  • Participation: Players are expected to plan to attend each week unless a waitlist occurs. Consistent attendance is crucial for maintaining balanced teams and ensuring that all matches are competitive and enjoyable. Your participation is essential for the league’s success, so please make every effort to be present each week.
  • Registration for DUPR: To register for a DUPR account, visit myDUPR.com. Once registered, please join the Pickleball Club of Chesterfield County CLUB to stay connected with the league.

Registration doesn’t guarantee weekly play, as participants need to sign up to secure a spot for the following week. We expect that everyone who signs up will be able to play each week. If that is not the case, no player will have to miss more than one week of the season involuntarily.
