Player Skill Expectations
Players should play at 3.50 – 3.75 skill level.
General Comments
This is a fun and competitive league. This is a great league for partners trying to gain experience playing as a team in preparation for tournaments.
DUPR Scores: Player scores will NOT be recorded in DUPR.
Equipment and Essentials: Bring your own pickleball paddle, plenty of water, and stay hydrated. Sunscreen, comfortable attire, and protective glasses. Balls for play will be provided.
Participation: Players are expected to plan to attend each week. Consistent attendance is crucial for maintaining balanced teams and ensuring that all matches are competitive and enjoyable. Your participation is essential for the league’s success, so please make every effort to be present each week.
Substitutes: Since the purpose of this league is to compete with the same partner for the duration, substitutes will generally not be permitted. Therefore, if a team member cannot play on a particular week, both players on that team will be absent. However, if a player cannot return for the remainder of the season (for example, due to an injury) then a permanent substitute will be considered on an exception basis.
Registration doesn’t guarantee weekly play, as participants need to sign up to secure a spot for the following week. If a waitlist occurs, those not chosen will be automatically placed on the roaster for the next week IF THEY SIGN UP, ensuring no player involuntarily misses two consecutive weeks.
Registration Instructions
Read the registration rules first!
- Player 1 – Register yourself and your team. (A Chesterfield County resident may choose a non-resident as their partner)
- Access and complete the “Team Registration” form via the “Add to Cart” link. You will name your partner, but they must register separately.
- Checkout and pay the league fees. You will pay for both players.
- Check your email for a receipt to confirm successful registration. Confirmation maybe delayed – best practice is to use a credit card that provides immediate verification.
- Player 2 – Partner Registration
- Access and complete the “Second Partner Registration” form via the “Add to Cart” link.
- Checkout with a zero fee, you must complete the checkout process. (Credit Card information will not be requested.)
- Check your email for a receipt to confirm successful registration.
