Player Skill Expectations
This is an entry-level league for players new to the sport of pickleball. There will be no instruction but some help if needed. If you have taken a PB 101 course you would qualify but this is not a requirement. The beginner league is relaxed and fun – great for practicing the fundamentals, and meeting new players!
General Comments
By the end of this league, you’ll be prepared and ready to participate in open play at the many courts available in the Greater Richmond area. Regular participation each week is strongly encouraged, but not required. Weekly sign-ups will be sent each week throughout the eight-week season. Bring your own pickleball paddle and plenty of water/hydration (very important!). Sunscreen, comfortable attire, and protective glasses are recommended. Balls for play will be provided.
