Player Skill Expectations
This league is open to all male advanced beginner and intermediate players. Players should be familiar with the basic rules and scoring (see the USAPA Rules).
General Comments
Everyone must register for each week’s play via Sign-Up Genius.
Warm-ups start at 6:00 PM, with a meeting at 6:25 PM. Games begin around 6:30 PM. Each week, you’ll be assigned courts based on your DUPR rating to play competitive games with similarly skilled players. Some weeks, we will either have a learning drill or a fun pickleball-type game before our competitive games. The fun games will NOT be counted toward your DUPR.
Equipment: Bring your own pickleball paddle and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Court shoes and protective glasses are highly recommended. Balls for play will be provided.
Participation: Please make every effort to be present each week. We have limited court space, so last-minute cancellations and no-shows are frowned upon and disrupt the pre-made roster. If your plans change, please inform the coordinator as soon as possible so they can adjust the player roster accordingly.
