Player Skill Expectations
The league caters to women with a skill level of 3.25 and above in pickleball. Despite being competitive, the primary mission is to establish a positive and encouraging environment for women who love the sport. It is not designed for complete beginners, as no instructions on “how to play” are provided. Participants are expected to be familiar with basic rules and scoring, as outlined by the USAPA Rules.
General Comments
Players scores will be recorded in DUPR. Players will need an active DUPR account & will receive a player rating by the end of the season. Bring your own pickleball paddle and plenty of water/hydration. Sunscreen, comfortable attire, and protective glasses are recommended. Balls for play will be provided. Regular participation each week is strongly encouraged. Weekly sign-ups will be sent each week throughout the eight-week season.
