Chesterfield Pickleball News
That means more players on the courts. Please do your part in helping to keep Chesterfield Pickleball's reputation for being the most friendly and welcoming places to play in the area. How? By rotating off the court when others are waiting to play, by inviting individuals to join your group, by kindly playing with those who are not at your level occasionally, and by offering suggestions as to when and where they can play with others who are at their level. PICKLEBALL IS THE MOST FUN WHEN ALL PLAYERS ARE AT THE SAME LEVEL but it doesn't always have to be the most fun to still be enjoyable. New players are not aware of the calendar which can be found (1) at the kiosk outside the gate at CTC, (2) on our FACEBOOK Page and (3) on our website. Young people have found pickleball, if you have not noticed.,,,:-) They may not know the rules of Open/Rotational play during the hours of 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. during the Summer months.

Remember to check our “Chesterfield Pickleball Group” Facebook Page for pickleball happenings across Chesterfield and the surrounding area. THE CALENDAR POSTED AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE IS MOST IMPORTANT. We try to keep it updated and when there are last minute changes, we try to notify you on FACEBOOK.
Please remember when posting that we do not allow promotion of outside events, products, or services without permission. We want to keep our local players advised of what is going on in the world of pickleball in general and activities primarily in our local area, so activities or tournaments far beyond the Chesterfield area do not belong on this site.

Looking ahead, registration for the Autumn season will open in late July/early August, with play starting the first week in September. Please keep an eye out for the specific dates, which will be published in the July newsletter.

PCCC Person of the Month - Susan Profitt
Susan graciously agreed to publish our monthly calendar and is doing a wonderful job. As our former calendar gal, Louisa Carloni used to say, it's a moving target to get the final calendar approved. Susan gathers information each month from all locations regarding hours, closures, Parks and Rec Classes, Clinics, Tournaments and Leagues and makes them all fit on one page. It's amazing. As Lynze said to our league coordinators, "We are especially grateful to Susan Proffitt for her outstanding work of producing the monthly calendar which keeps players informed about open play courts and league scheduling. Your dedication has kept everything running smoothly." So, thank you Susan and congratulations for being highlighted this month. We appreciate you!
